There are many paths that lead to the device settings, either by tapping the clock, then tapping the switches icon and then tap Settings. Or you can simply tap the settings icon. Once in Settings, swipe down to Developer Options. Once inside a warning will pop up informing you that you should disable these settings. Tap OK. Changing this isn’t going to hamper the system any more than some already are. The third option from the top says Stay Awake. Tap the box to check it, and there you go. Now when your device is plugged in, the screen will not sleep. If you have an Android device running CM7, you can keep the screen on while charging it too.
